LRF with 4 species and shore record fish

8 members of the northeast mini rock fishing forum got a special pass to fish tynemouth pier from 4 till 3.30 today cheers Andy Copeland
The fishing was with tiny hooks n baits looking for some new species
Between us all we had codling. Pollack. Coalie. Whiting. Sea scorpion. Pouting. Butterfish. Dab. Yarrels blenny. Eelpouts starfish and 2 manky hagfish
Me personally had 4 new species and what would of been a shore caught record Yarrels blenny but it went back instead here are a few pics

Cracking day with the odd heavy shower thrown in lol can't wait for the next session and nice to meet a lot of new people you all know who you are
 
nice one mick hope we all can get a special pass just incase only place ya can get certain species fair for all competitors hunting species Lol
 
good session foryou Michael,pier can throw out about 20 species or more ,very rare yarrels blenny yet to see one on pier,were you up at the lighthouse end dropping down the side,hate them hagfish cut my traces off if I connect with one a three feet trace reduced to about 3 inchs. well done on putting it back. davy.

Cheers Davy we were next to the last set of steps down the side there was 2 yarrels pulled in mine being the largest and a butterfish traces were cut off full of slime
 
Sounds like a cracking day out for the crabsticks. Is the pier open to anyone? Good on you Mick for releasing the Blenny.
 
canny day out lads well done on the fish nice to see some different fish being caught those hagfish just look alien
