the river is perfect up here, and there\'s just enough rain still coming down to hold it like it is now for a good few days I\'d guess

If I didn\'t have an aappointment with john west (apparently) I\'d be there myself

Far to much water in today.
Been sandbagging some low spots in the floodbanks its been that high.
Will be good fishing when its starts dropping off, started to drop a bit thisafternoon but it depends what the rain wants to do tonight.

Their was a few lads fishing the wear by witton lakes this morning. Still a canny bit water in tho. Should be good for tomorrow or saturday

Hello Lads

I managed a day on the Wear on Saturday gone (up at Stanhope), I got nothing but my mate managed a nice clean 7lb salmon taken on a size 2 mepps.

There was fish everywhere, jumping out all over, bloody frustrating but great to see.

Well, untill next year!

Better get my sea gear out now.
