sorry mate but thats a Corkwing head is all wrong and coloration,tail is also too long and the blue tint around the anal duct are all classic Corkwing features.

Have to agree with Andy - 100% corkwing

Rock cook is otherwise known as a small mouth wrasse and when you get one you'll see why.

Also isn't enough colour around the head, which as mentioned is too big. And missing the dark band and orange coloration in the tail.

Now that i've seen them side by side I agree its a corkwing. I'm happy for it to be taken off. I've already achieved what I wanted to do by beating my score off last year so any more species I catch are a bonus

A Male cuckoo wrasse is truly a fantastic fish to look at mind, probably one of if not the best looking fish in our waters.
Not as frequent a catch as the females either due to their extra ordinary biology so well done.
