Whiting

Looks like Trev will have to redo his table, no Mackerel for me and doubt I'll get out and get any now :D

Welcome to the league Stewart fish added and there's still plenty of time to get those points.

and don't forget to take your camera fishing like I did :D I could have added a weaver to my list on Saturday but left the camera at home   :p

Lads I am away in Scotland all week from tomorrow and will probably have no internet access to update the table but keep posting your fish anyway and I will add them when I get back next weekend. Hopefully I will have a few to add myself too

Just out of curiosity do your fish need to be caught properly through the mouth or does just caught count (ie foul hooked)? Just I've saw a few fish in the table extremely difficult to lip hook (not saying which ones though as not potinting fingers or saying they weren't lip hooked) just curious

I'd keep it but foul hooked. Just i noticed a fish on here that doesn't have a proper mouth and wouldn't take bait. Just didn't know what was in the rules thats all. Was thinking of possibly giving it a go next year maybe ;)

Thanks Scotty. The Scottish record pollack was caught off the rocks very close to where we are staying so I'm hoping to beat my pollack PB this week. Can't wait.

hagfish mog that one i posted was in a tangled mess when i caught it so i would agreed with you but i had the unpleasant pleasure of getting another one that was well and truly caught in the mouth :o so seems they can take a hook in the sucker mouth. but i know where you are coming from lost count of the traces i have had coming back in a tangled mess of slimy sand
