Shady 24/06/07 - Frasers Comp.

Bert, Sless & myself fished the comp today, Bert worked his magic again and put us amongst the fish, I got a ling of 16lb5oz (new PB ) and came 4th, Sless got a ling of 12lb+ and came 5th, Bert (who would of probably won if it was heaviest bag) came 7th. We got some great prizes, Greys Rod, Penn reel & Penn Floaty suit.

The winner was a ling of 17lb+, second was Keith Scott from SSBAC with another 17lb+ ling, third was another 16lb+ ling - well done lads!!!

Between the three of us we had 10 ling and I lost count of the cod.

Ive had a fantastic weekends fishing - Cheers Bert!!!

& Thanks to Mr Slesser, who put a canny shift in filleting our catch.

& Thanks to the current bun for turning my heed in to a big ripe tomato

i was well pleased with the whole weekend
2 double figure fish aswell
and a house full of fillets
debra has her work cut out making fishcakes with them ling fillets

mr charlton had a couple of ling and a cod donated by bert, keith and myself
enjoy them alan
sorry i didnt fillet them

Lol Graham you crank, just caught the last 5 minutes when SWMBO put the tele on to catch the next programme. Yvonne mentioned about some of the music that they were advertising and saying it sounded canny (she is a bit older than me lol) I said I would check with you to see if it was worth buying.

cheers for the macky steve, when the fish starts coming in i keep two compartments clear, one for macky and another for white fish. But they never seem to get filled, could have something to do with the amount of fish i eat when available. I even let the family have a few scraps as well though.
