I am willing to travel my local place is horden

Ended up at Horden mate got 2 tiddlers lol tiny

I think you got to get in amoung the rocks and kelp Easington or further south Blackhall / edge of Seaton

I'd recommend low water amongst the rocks. Some nice cod were caught last year late in the season from Blackhall rocks. You can move onto the cliffs at highwater, the chair can produce next to the caves.
Crimdon has some nice rocky marks to fish from, straight off the caravan park but its a bit of a clamber down the cliffs now which are crumbling. Also the tide rushes in fast due to flat beach all the way from crimdon to seaton
