Pier watchman not doing his job

Mind if i had kids with me and someone drove up on a motor bike i would say something. But not a push bike he probs has more rights on the pier than you. As a pier is a tourist attraction not a fishing mark

to be honest he might of gettin a puncture riding over a hook then skidded on a pile of makki guts as he drove threw a cloud of dope in my opininion
but who cares anyway more important things in life than trying to get someone sacked
 
The pier watchmen I've spoke to are all good blokes, always stop for a chat while I'm fishing, actually one of the uses his bike, he puts the bins bags on it to save him carrying them.

Totally agree the pier watchmen I speak to are nice blokes as well and they don't need aggravation like people putting in false claims or silly complaints

Hi all the point is that i was not fishing i was pushing a pram at the time and i didn't have my bat with me i or would have sorted it my self. Any way i am calling in at the town hall in the morning to make a complaint there if they think it will cost them in compensation then they will do some thing about it,if i have to walk then every one else should. If this stops the fishing blame the idiots who ride the bikes up and down the pier. If he had hit one of my kids him and his bike would have went in if he could swim or not.

Not much point going to the town hall the pier has nothing to do with the council it sounds like your making up your story as you go along to try and get some compensation, bull sh***er springs to mind
 
Depends what you want to achieve really fishing ban on pier or what? There is already catch reports and pics of people fishing sheilds roker tynemouth and the mess. To me the mess can be advertised as much as possible as thats imposible to hide. but howway lads a bit commen sence when reporting you dont need to say the piers just close to them. As much as i dont like pier fishing there are loads of people who do and a good place for a growning angler to get the chance of a decent fish. Put this accident down to exactly that then have a word if you see the lad again. I understand you not wanting confrontation in front of your kids. But telling on him so to speak will only cause you as a angler hassle
 
Can see both points. To be fair I've been in the same position with some dick head nearly wiping out my little lad, he's only 2, difference is I stopped the tool straight away and had words. As for the pier watchman it's unfair to put this on his toes the bloke can't please everyone ffs. So for me you should have had words with the guy who ran into you instead of ranting about him on here and possibly causing a sh!t storm.

What you thinking about taking kid in a pram on pier with all the lead and daylights flying about.Totally irresponsible of you,as for the lad on the bike it sounds like an accident suppose you never have them.I think its time you took a deep breath think about what you are proposing and then grow up.

make a complaint:question::question: i take it you have proof this ever happened.pictures witness names and addresses etc
 
As already mentioned, there is also no fishing on shields pier so if you complain he isn't doing his job then you will end up getting everyone kicked off and some lads wont be very happy at all !

Can't believe a so called angler is after some lads job just to 'prove a point', make some compensation and get everyone else banned from the pier... you should have a word with yourself....

its a shame you have a few scum bags making the pier a mess
wonder if this lad on the bike was a fisherman
also wonder if the lad who,s pram was hit is working class(LIKE THE WATHMAN)
as long as the child was not hurt,the lad on the bike should have said sorry
the land of compensation and insurance claims ,the world is mad
