Pier watchman not doing his job

when i started this thread i was just having a rant and blowing off some steam never meaning to go through with it, but because of the nice and kind replys i got from "pablo safc and others" was at the town hall to day. You are all right the lass at the town hall told me she could not do anything about it,but she made a report on her computer included the photo some one took with there phone right after he ran into the back of me she gave me a copy " so much for more lies "Daz" and told me she was sending it off to the " Port of tyne" as they would deal with it. As for being laughed at when i got there she said if no one tells anyone about these things when they happen nothing will ever be done about it. I was told I'm the 4th person to complain about cyclist's on the pier in the last 3 weeks but the 1st one to be hit and have photo proof of it as for feeling a knob head i don't think so she was very glad that i had been to see her and no i didn't mention the pier watchman as i know it was not his fault just the crazy lad on the bike.

That's me put firmly in my place. I now realise my comments were wrong and you are indeed a fine upstanding pillar of the community.

i went for a cycle along the pier this afternoon and i didnt bump into any lawsuit looking for free cash and compensation claim ppl like fireblade [ and it wasnt me yesterday either after looking bk at last few posts incase im sued ]

heres a question for fireblade

if hee steps into the road and i knock him over in me car can i sue him or the traffic wardens for him not takeing due care and attention and the wardens for not informing him to keep off the road lol ,,,

Does it say in Big Letters on the Notice Board on the gates The Port Authority accept no responsibility for accidents/losses/thefts from persons entering the Pier.
It usually does !

To me the OP just sounds like either a 'serial claimant' or a plain old 'Divvie'.

I sometimes ride me bike on footpaths, just for the hell of it.

Hi all the point is that i was not fishing i was pushing a pram at the time and i didn't have my bat with me i or would have sorted it my self. Any way i am calling in at the town hall in the morning to make a complaint there if they think it will cost them in compensation then they will do some thing about it,if i have to walk then every one else should. If this stops the fishing blame the idiots who ride the bikes up and down the pier. If he had hit one of my kids him and his bike would have went in if he could swim or not.

The pier has nothing to do with the council, and as for the watch man do you think hes got eyes up his arse, the rubbish is probably not in his job description and last week the poor sod was cleaning human **** off the end of pier. wathch where your walking or just stay off the pier
