Good luck mate. Literally hours away from my flight to Canada to fish and I'm jealous of you buggars not taking me with you... I'm going to try salmon and that on lures on light gear.... Snapped rod here we come lmao

LOL Been here since Wed and never fished yet, just doing a few jobs around the caravan and getting some brownie points in !!! Itching to get out for a few hours but the wind has been a real spoiler. Here for a while yet and will cast a line or two before we head back to Whitley Bay.

The odd mackies are being caught from the boat, cannot say about the shore marks for them. Boat launched from East Tarbet today and due to the weather had to stay close in. Doggies, small cod, pollack and wrasse made up their catch.

To all the NESA lads always welcome to call in for a cuppa and a bit crack/advice. We are here for a lot of the year. Van no 5 on the Clashwhannon site.

John

ps POP39 we will be here 2/3 July - call in for a beer !!!!!!

Aye we saw them lads, give them a hand to get there new boat off the beach after they got stuck, was hoping they were going to tell us they'd caught loads of bass but it was not to be

Been sorting my fishing gear out today. May have a bit bash with lures around hw tomorrow. Forcast looking non too clever for the west side of the mull so will probably go looking for my first bass of the season in Luce Bay somewhere.

Not too hopeful to be honest as still a bit early but shy bairns get nowt ;-)
