Weh ya kna diya think fouty punds a bit much like as ah dee think 25 quids mere like it as us pensioners canna afford that lad and is ther sumthin near sunderland as the boats on nesa are a bit too far for me to travel. Any way not to warry gud luck ta ya awl.Jim.

im in the same boat (no pun intended) as Scotty...my transport is busses and metro so sunderland is out of my reach...and any early kick off is out too. (hopefully this will all change as i got a new job starting april).

Don't really understand this thread. Seems to me buses leave Newcastle as early as 0630 for Sunderland, takes 30 mins and cost £3.00 !?

aye mark i think its as much the issue of having to carry a load of boat gear on a bus,the getting a bus to the bus and then maybe having to get a bus after you get off the bus to the boat

imagine trying to get all ya fish on the buses after ya trip also and a big lings head peeping out a split of ya bag sitting next to an old nana on the bus

Now Lynn has been trained in filleting, by a kindly crewman on Charisma (thanks Dave!), our fish come to the dock ready for the pan!!
