Fished Blyth beach last night from 16:00-01:00
Quiet for the remaining Ebb but an hour after low had a Codling of 38cm, then plenty of action with undersized whiting/coley/flounder/codling.
Nothing sizeable until the last cast, when I landed a 41cm Codling. Nice finish to the eve.
Bait used was frozen black/squid and fresh lug/rag. Squid&blacks was by far most active bait.
Back to London on Sunday
at least I got a couple of sessions in, and a nice cod dinner tomorrow.
