Brother in Law and I fished Blyth beach last Monday (28/10) evening, got there just after low at 18:00.
Over the next 4 hours we had plenty of action with just undersized Flounders & Coalies .. only the one codling about 1.5 lb
Frozen lug wrapped with squid was the most productive bait.
We popped onto Blyth Quayside for the top of the tide and to use the last of the bait on the way home, but it was dead there, hardly any bites in 2 hours.
I was surprised that there were no whiting around at both locations????
