Beachcaster advice (braid)

Hello im after some advice

Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a rod?

Im after a new beachcaster for use with braid. I would like something 14ft or maybe a touch longer.

I was using a Shimano Aspire 140 MPT but snapped the tip the other day and I dont seem to be able to find any more as they dont make them any more.

Im currently using a 13ft mk3 Apollo which I used to love with mono but just find it a bit stiff with braid.

The rod will be used for mixed to rough ground and some cliff work. My casting style is just an overhead thump. I would prefer the rod to be light and slim (around 24mm) but not essential. I will be using fixed spools and multipliers on the rod.

I had an m4 evo and excalibur c curve when I used mono but sold them as I prefered stiffer then now im thinking these would have been good for use with the braid but want a bit longer too. Was looking at the zziplex MBR, lt14 evo and the century t900 too.

Any thoughts and guidance would be appreciated.

If you're looking at the Zziplex MBR and Century T900, my personal choice would be the Century T900 to use with braid but I think the MBR is built for use specifically with braided lines. I just prefer Century over Zziplex, but I'm sure someone with more experience with Zziplex rods will be able to guide you down the MBR route, hope this helps.

think it depends on the amount of cash you want to splash on a new rod m8
most anglers have there own opinion on the rods they like to use.
there is a massive selection of rods on the market now and you can also pick some good second hand rods up.
