Barry Tweddle R I P.

I know nothing abut him but from the response i take it he was a well known angler around here? how old was he?

He was pretty much the backbone of the Seaton Sluice club, and also involved with the Sea League and known to just about everyone on the club / match circuit. Lately he'd been keeping us all up to speed with the whole MCZ & netting issues - one of those blokes deeply involved & committed to the sport. I think he was only 40 (or 41), but very experienced - just goes to show the worst can happen to any of us. I'm sure those who've known him longer than me would have a lot more to add.

Cheers, Gary.

RIP Barry

My deepest sympathy to his family, a really nice lad for them to be proud of. The replies on here show what people thought of him.

Very sorry to hear of this tragic loss, known Barry since he worked at Heaton Carriage Sidings, a smashing lad who was very approachable, will be sorely missed, my deepest sympathy to his family, friends and anyone who knew him.

R.I.P. Barry
