Amble Pier Strange Goings On

Fished Amble pier yesterday in the mukiest water I have ever seen. I didnt hold much hope for anything due to the state of the water.

Tried a 3 hook flapper, baited with small pieces of Bluey (Awesome bait) tiped with runny down. Getting a fish a cast upto about 1lb and half. Nice to see some decent size fish for a sport fishing venue.

Back out later to see if the storm whether will produce some nice beasts.

Good report Elbeer m8 but its just due to the weather with the rain water running back into the river that its all murky and drab but at least its producing some canny fish so well done and good luck to you.

Just gt a pm, they were actually Smoothies. Up to 10lb not 1. We were both wrong!!! Keep it quiet though as it'll get hammered!!! HA....
