went to roker pier from 5 - 9 last night took 2 rods quite a few on plenty of bait fishermen bringing in lobsters, flounders, dabs, whiting, coalies and a nice gurnard
lots of makeral gettin caught especially on the float near to the steps going up to the lighthouse in the bay side
1 fellow on a moterized chair using float about 10 yards out was catching for fun
i finished with 5
2 on the new spinning gear great fun
3 on daylights
the day before i seen very little rubbish last night took the p..s bags of rubbish tied and left on the railings ,guts all over ,kronenburg bottles, skol and fosters cans
if you bring the stuff take the f....er home and dispose of it
talking to an elderly couple who could not believe the state and smell ov it and the language that was been shouted next to us was not needed a total lack ov manners ( the fellow shouting was not a youngin either about 50 ish)
rant over
all fish prepared ready for winter bait

Dont mention Lobsters from Roker pier cos the lobster fishermen will start leaving their boats in dock and throw them off the pier if they think they can catch them closer in than they already shoot the pots, what with them ,the chavs, the foul language, the sh1t,the p1ss,and the rubbish its no wonder the public find it such a wonderful place to visit. What must they think of anglers as a whole, because there is no doubt we will all be tarred with the same brush. My Rant over.
Pleased you got a few fish any way!lets hope everyones freezers are now full and the mackeral make way for the cod sooner rather than later .

Dont worry winters on its way & the butterflys will soon be gone for the next 8 months.anyway well done on your catch
