mixed bag roker pier

Descided to go to roker pier 6 last night till 6 this morning took 2 rods 1 with big baits on a 5/0 pulley pennel and the other rod fishing a 2 hook flapper size 1/0s caught a descent size coalie on the big rod and that was it but on the 2 hook set up got 8 small codling weighing about 1 n 1/2 lb added together plus 2 descent whiting and 2 flatfish kept the 2 whiting and 1 flatfish as was deep hooked must of been 100 fishing then down to me fishing on me own until Micky Quayle turned up at 5.30 not a bad session 4 different species but didn't see any big cod. Bait used lug. Rag. Muscle. Runny down. Makki. And razor

Well done on the mixed bag, sounds pretty busy. Ita funny how when fishing two setups like that, any lunkers that come along go for the flapper.lol

the pier was pap today flat seas small tides drowning worms
