Just as it says above lads, I normally fish with fine tip continental style rods (Yuki) but want something a bit stiffer for rougher ground for fixed spool, any advice or recommendations would be appreciated

I bought an Imax Extreme FS and I am pleased with it. It is a proper rough ground rod. I believe it is the same blank as the Leeda Icon Ultra Power. I got it for around the £90 mark on eBay a year or so ago. -
Any rough rod will do for f/spool IMO only when you get down to the real thin braid is when problems arise.did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?Comment

I use a Yuki Q7 for summer fishing and a T1000 for winter in the rough stuff. Very happy with both.Comment
