                  • Two more for the species Hunt: Coalie & Whiting.

Went down the Glass Centre on the Wear last night for a couple of hrs:
No one doing much. Got a Coalie and several miniture whiting - smallest
I've ever seen.- Now I know why people sometimes zoom the camera
into the fish or hold the fish at arms length towards the camera.
Who says size doesn't matter!!! well it's still a species aint it. Cheers bud.

                      • Based on it's small size I would think probably a long spined scorpion as that is a smaller fish than the short spined. They are quite difficult to tell apart but you can identify them by looking underneath at the gills. Have a look here and let me know what you think Long Spined & Short Spined Sea Scorpion

Tinman/Pierro your fish have been added.

A flounder for me last night from seaburn prom also managed a small codling from marsden rock edges before we moved along to seaburn where we caught whity's and the small flounder showed tinman how to catch fish.
