  • help needed

    Hi all after some advice nephew wants to try a bit fishing hes only ever done coarse
    fishing before can anybody recommend somewhere to try thats fishing. Haven't been able to get out my self lately due to moving home, not bothered about species just after some sport
    and fun to try and convert him to proper fishing (only joking) lol any help very much appreciated. Oh will be going out Saturday morning thanks

    I had a few flatties and very small codling and coleys off the glass centre last Sunday. Might be worth a go for him.
    All the gear, no idea.

      Sort of slow right now.
      If you wantr some chance of a catch it has to be a pier for now I reckon.
      Most bigguns have gone out to spawn now but there are flatties and small whities and codling around. Not fun to catch though, at least the tommies.

      Best to choose your time going by the state of the tide. Without knowing where you intend going I've put a link to Sunderland here.

      If the weather changes to something you wouldn't to chance on a pier then do the Glass Centre maybe at Sunderland.
      Told the missus I was going on a diet. I'd only eat what I caught

          any of the rivers with walker,st peters basin,copthorne, or business park in the tyne,any of the marks on the south side of the tyne,and the marks in the wear would be a good start and quite safe with fishing out of you car on most marks. davy.

              Aye would hit heburn marina near launch ramp cast 10 yrds past bouys loads of sport there specialy on the turn of the tide
