Hi kev im no good on this site but ive just stumbled across visitor message but cant see yourpm il answer visitor message firstly bullet blank has sold and a blank is a bare carbon blank without rings or fittings as zziplex only make rod blsnks nowadays not compleat rods I still have the zeteque gt above for sale and would suit the area you fish as regards to casting further with zziplex the answer is no its largely down to individual and your current rod is capable of casting 250-280yards in skilled hands to be honest you would be best of having casting lessons rather than buying a new rod , scaley on here is worth asking as hes a brillianr young caster and loves teaching people to cast he wouldnt charge anything and could probably stick 50-90yards on your cast in an hour or two he lives in sunderlsnd and is a tournament caster
