xmas spirit ?

As I like the feeling of control I get out staying sober, I have reduced my alcohol intake to almost none in recent years.

Mind you, some mornings it still takes up to three double espresso coffees to get me going.

Hello again Bri mate. My old mates Jack,(Daniels), John,(Smith), Stella,(Artois) and Jim,(Beam) will be most welcome in the gag1 abode over the Festive Season. Have a good one mate !!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D .

Cheers.

Vodka vodka vodka, or a good single malt if I\'m feeling particularly well chilled out. Lochnagar is my current fave

OK Brian, I like Fairtrade Cafedirect Rich Roast Dark & Full Bodied. 2 table spoons to about 3 fluid oz of water through the Gaggia Coffee Maker. 4 of those and you can walk on the ceiling! 5 and you might get some sleep in a couple of days time and you are likely to have some involuntary facial muscle spasms. I guess the kids might get me some thing extra special like some Lavazza or Illy or Percol Rocket Fuel (has a health warning on the packet) or Carte Noire for Crimbo.

smirnoff vodka

mind you if ink was alcholic id sup it
hahaha

vodka rules, ive got one in front of me right now

nowt wrong with a stella frenzy tho

Not really too keen on lagers.....
Pint wise, it would be either John Smiths or Theakstons Bitter.
Spirit wise......dark navy rum.....any brand will do...lol, but Capt. Morgan\'s a canny bloke...OR a nice 12yr old single malt.

Tried a bottle of Broon Ale years ago........I felt like a failed Geordie......bloody awful stuff (mind you, it was warm.....lol)

Mark, I\'ll look out for that Illy dark roast. For every day drinking, the Fairtrade Cafedirect stuff takes some beating on flavour and cost and I like to think that the peeps at the growing end of things are getting a better deal than that they would get from Nestle (Nescafe). According to Mrs Hughes the Fairtrade tea is OK as well.

Is there a fair trades side to alcoholic drinks ? I would buy wines and spirits from organisations where the growers have a big input into the production. Perhaps the treasury could undertake to return some of the duty back as overseas aid as well.

Don\'t drink all that much either, John........just enough to get me \"relaxed\".........it has been known for me to become a little too relaxed at times though.......lol

Equal measures of White Lightening, Tropical Flavour Sunny Delight, Blue Stratos and Buckfast. Garnished with Ritz Cracker floaters. Warm over a Tilley lamp for 30mins. Strain through a sweaty sock into a Plastic Milk container, (drink it quick)

or Classic Margherita - tequila, lime juice, triple sec, salted rim crushed ice.

or Woods Rum, Wray and Nephew white rum, Wild Turkey, Absolute Pepper flavour, Chivas Regal, Good Dry Sherry, The Macallan, Home made Baileys, Marijuana Grappa and a few others I REALLY like.

There is a big movement, CAMRA being the main name in the game. Many micro-breweries in operation as well as farm produced Ciders, wine etc. Organically produced by dedicated wonderful people.

Taste Fucking rotten though. ;)
