Whitburn last night

Met diver Dave after work last night for a couple of hours on the rocks at Whitburn . 2 nod cast I got one about 3lb then Dave got one a little bit bigger . Couldn't believe it we were fishing in about 2 foot of water . In 2 hours I managed five out biggest just over 3lb the smallest pound and a half . Best nights fishing I've had in ages . All but 1 fish went back

Where in whitburn mate? I fished the mudhole never had a bite until about 2 hours into the ebb,then managed one out bang on 6lb. Started off at the wherry but it was a bit to heavy there,struggled to hold the bottom.

Back of the doors mate .my mate fished the gun pits at high tide but blanked , glad I was working or I would have been there

Aye mate that's where i intended going when i left the wherry,but was 3 lads on there already and none of them had owt. No other choice but the mudhole really but it paid off in the end.

Couple of lads i know had plenty fish on the mudhole last neet.

Yeah there was 3 or 4 already there when i got there. Was limited space so i fished further along where the wooden bench is,so didn't ask if they had owt. They all left about 45mins after i got there. Was their fish any size?

Sorry mate meant the gunpits,3 on there when passed one of them must of been your mate.

Don't think anything was taken at the gun pits mate I no my friend blanked he said it was really poor at high tide

Had 15 up to 5 lb

7 of them were out of the river with the biggest coming from the mudhole
