Hello Dave I might of got you beat Ive got a three piece south african Assassin rod designed by barry wareham of the south african beach squad it has 4 tips light, med ,heavy and ultra heavy its a shark rod just like my 2 piece purglas shark rods that I cast with . :D :yltype:

looked at the assassins and they have been busting in the bottom spigot the T53 Blue marlin is the rod the are all switching to in one peice and 3 peice these are shark fishing rods got mine in NAMIBIA last saturday just had a small fish on it 165lb bronzie 3rd cast nice way to start with a new rod.

Well impressed Dave lol. I think when jordy posted on here he was asking about fishing as we know it in the UK. How would that rod of yours stand up to fishing on the N.E. coast mate. Personally I have not heard of it. If anyone else has please speak up but I doubt it.
I have a feeling that if you get a Whiting on there you might not know that it is there, in fact if you caught a Cod you would never know lol. Call me sceptic but I won\'t take offence lmfao.

hi,surely these one piece rods are a bit of a pain transportation , three piece dont like the sound of them , greys producing long three piece rods along with shakespear cant see them lasting , two piece ideal in my opion, how long have you had your purglass rod now pete been some time i think had a look on ebay a few times seen a few these other ones seem interesting two can see advantages for heavier leads for fishing , are you from england dave or an americano john

I live in leeds uk on the soft tip you feel a bream like fish bite
as for 3 piece rods the south afrcan rods lead the way they have no flat spots loads of power and a tip that dont fold up with a good fish
best fish so far on my 3 peice is a 165lb bronzie but that will be bettered
in 2006 namibia II.
