I was looking through my drawers at work yesterday (no.....nothing to do with Chris\' Y Fronts predicament), when I found some slides I\'d taken a few years ago.....had forgot all about them.

This one immediately caught my attention and I just had to scan it......

The original photo didn\'t have the angler on.....just added him in.....the rest is as the original slide.

And if you look between the piers you\'ll notice Norman & Dave having a late start to a days boat fishing. ;)

Lol John......bit of \"artistic licence\" put to use, m8......the figure was too small to make out when I made it smaller.

I\'ve printed the photo out to an A1 size poster and it looks rather nice.

Busy adding a bit of text to it to make it a NESA poster.

I might be able to make the poster avaiable if anyone\'s interested.

I\'ll post the finished version when it\'s done.

Can\'t beat a nice, early morning sunrise, John.........

Unless it\'s an early evening sunset (Autumn\'s best time for those).

Lovely picture that Tony, John if that was me I\'d be jumping up and down with temper because of the major tackle losses whenever I fish the groyne lol

For those who might not know, this is the size of an A1 size print....

I may be able to get the OK from work to print the posters (especially if any £ made from them goes to charity.....the RNLI in our case), but getting the OK to do a run of calendars is extremely doubtful, Bri.

The poster isn\'t on glossy paper, but the paper is coated and isn\'t like the plain paper used for letters, etc.

As far how much the prints would be.....I\'ve not even thought about that, Bri.
I\'ll wait to see what the response is like 1st before I ask about being able to print them up

Lol Steve....ya not wrong about the tackle loss :exclam:

Tried from there many times when I 1st took up fishing......casting left into the river, straight out into the harbour and to the right accross the bay......absloute nightmare !!

I\'d always put it down to the fact that I had just started fishing and wasn\'t getting enough distance with the cast........I know now that MANY people have the same trouble when fishing from the groyne.
