well weekend gone, after much deliberation whether we should retire or not after all Fergus is ten, we went to Pickering game fair, while others struggle to get the 30 points required for a final spot the little fella did it in style on his first round at about 11.30am, it wasn’t until 4.15 that another dog got 30 pts after numerous tries, but the little fella won the final run off in great style. The next day same again 30 pts on first round, again while others struggled, with the competition a bit better five dogs got to the final, going first I dropped a clanger, should of just let him do it his way, we ended up with 7pts, thought that was it we are out, but no one dog got 8pts and another two got 7pts. A three way run off for 2nd & 3rd, after first run off there where two left Fergus and another lab, the next two rounds saw both dogs get full points, the third round saw Fergus get 10pts and the other 9pts. Proud as punch for the little fellow and was certainly the crowds favourite. So another two nice trophies and certificates for his scrap book and enough dried dog food to take him into next year. Off to North Yorks game fair Sunday and Monday.

Are you not training him to swim out off whitley and fetch back some stripeys Alan ! now that would be good !

Well done on your dedication and for fergus for listening to you :D

Well done Fergus!

Did he not want to test his skills at the Corbridge county fair this Monday?

will be at North Yorkshire game fair, it is hard finding when any country fairs are on up here, Googled them plenty times but found very little. Will have a look at Corbridge one maybe for next year. Just had a look dosn't seem to be anything for dogs working tests etc, says well behaved dogs allowed so they are obviously not dog orientated
