Weather for Saturday???

I'm hoping that the weather will be ok for saturday for my first trip off on growler this season. I have had a look at all of the forecasts which seem to be changing all the time and it looks a maybe! Micky was off last weekend when I was on my holidays and had a great day fish wise but nothing huge(he kept 10 or 12 cod) so here's hoping the little bit of sea running this week hasn't coloured the water too much and the weather turns out ok!

If i was able to go out..which am not :( Sunday would be a no no with strong ne winds....sat would be a maybe but it says gusts to 30mph but from the west..maybe flat sea but bloody fast drift

more of a 3.30am th hour tone ! ;)

Just looking at me list here and the tide is on top at 5.48 am (or 5.00pm but thats far too late :) )
so we got to be out at pier end for or rather before, first light , think thats about 5.00ish so startout time at marina is 4.00am ;) :) you know it makes sense ...
(I`ll ring then visit marina tomorrow to make sure)

I will be down the marin from 1pm all afternoon on Friday so i should be able to report back how ready it looks or even go see them. Will post the outcome either way.

I'll give you a shout when we get out and South a bit Norman if you's are not already on your way home! We are going to nip out about half nine-ish and fish the flood as the first two hours of the flood is when Micky had the majority of the fish last weekend, allegedly just off the place where there is an ice cream shop!!!!

Graham.

9.30, Norman will be in the marina cleaning Kate down by then :)

Maybe a day to anchor up if the gusts get to much

Sat17 Apr Day 12 °C W 17 mph gusting 28 mph

Good luck all anyway, i be thinking of the catch reports as i am doing two 9hr overtime shifts

I am not a fan of that site as it dont show gusts just the wind, it has caught me out a few tmes when it said wind 10mph gust 30mph and the gusts so close together it may as well been a constant wind.

Stil they all only guess work and all take the info from the same weather device...always makes me wonder how BBC ad ITV show different weather when they get it from the same bloody weather station lol

if its any help to anybody I use 'windguru.com' its been pretty accrate for me for the times I have used it, and it gives you about 5 different spots on the north east coast to check the weather.

just though i'd throw that out there....may be some use to somebody somewhere......
