the penny has dropped my mate who told me to do this said oh i think you have hard water that will short it out ha everyone knows hard water is ice sheese i nearly fell for that one,, don't worry about the water link mate my wife is sorting that part out we got a liter at this time but need loads more

Ok, so this is a p*ss take thread, we realise that now. Yes, I could build a pc with a mini-tropical tank in the side no bother - turtle though? no. Minnows/Tetras/Rasboras yes, be hard work to maintain the tank biology though.

What worries me is, that, this is a public forum - so some daft kid is bound to think "ohh, that's how you do water cooling" and end up killing themselves. Not being a killjoy, but it is like saying drilling a hole in your boat hull will let water drain out the bottom....

Think this thread needs locking down or deleting, we've had our laugh now, lets not put someones life at risk.

No offense mate, but there's a forum (Barmaids) on this site for having a laugh, when something is posted that is made to look serious and potentially very dangerous to the lower IQ's of this world, then it's not funny. My comments were made with all due respect out of concern that you were actually serious - there are morons in this world and on this site no doubt, who would try something like that.

Laugh and a joke in a thread that is made obvious is one thing....

No offense taken mate, but i do think your taking this just a tad serious like i say was copied from another forum the thread was going for over 4 years i do believe it, it was a computer forum and everybody seemed to think it was funny well i did, was just trying to bring a smile to this forum but i guess thats to much hard work for some people on here i'll remember in future not to post anything that i will have to bite my lip and think will i or wont i ? maybe im not cut out to be a comedian oh well i'll just have to be pleased im the best sea angler in the northeast or possibly the world ;-)

Was not strictly having a go at you Batt. More a general observation on some of the posts here recently. I know it was a joke but the water cooled pc was not the worst idea on this forum. Anyone remember razorblades in sinkers to cut through kelp!!
