Tynemouth Pier

Fished the pier for the last two weeks and blanked.
one night fourteen blokes blanked-baits ranging from crab,mussle,rag,lug,squid you name it but no joy.

any idea wot is going on where's all the fish?

The last 3 times i have been down i have blanked so when i find the fish i will let you know. lol

Fished Tynemouth today with some nice size whities being caught I think the biggest was 41 cm, with approx 60 fish being taken between 12 anglers? first time I have fished it and was a bit slow for me had 4 size and one under size. Some of the lads were getting numerous bites and Dave fishing peg 1 next to the end had 16 fish I think??

Not sure why you all blanked?? loads of shy bites also that came to nowt with a few nice eater crabs being caught also!!

Well done mate seems as if the fish have been eaten day time rather than night.
Still a bit of a shortage in cod though normally feed well at nite but nothing recently..

I've been down twice last week. Seen one nice 5lber at the 4 posts when the sea was up and one of 2lb, off the end, when it was flat (neither of them where mine like). We had few big whiting and a canny eating crab off the end but it has been slow.
