Tynemouth pier and new PB

Me. Madrob and outcast Chris fished the above from 6 till 1 in the morning fished the lower level right next to the lighthouse where the steps going into the sea
Bites from the off for all of us at low water with us all hooking codling. Dabs and coalies
Comp on now for longest fish £1 a man mark igo was fishing next to us for a while untill he got fed up with the anglers on the top next to lighthouse casting across us and bringing us in so he moved ( no thought for other anglers )
Rob caught a double shot of cod n dab on a Pennel rig using fresh blacks n lug
Rob had a steady flow of fish all the same stamp of codling about a lb in weight whilst me n Chris were getting the odd fish here and there so we kept moving further along and onto the top level but with no luck
Rob won the comp with a 32 cm flounder sorry no pics
Most fish came at low water then near the end of the session I got a slow pull down on my rod yes here comes my PB of my fishing career and a stonking starfish lol

Lovely night and great not to lose gear like we did last week at Kettleness and shields pier loads of eater crabs getting caught on the hooks to
2 weeks running and madrob takes the money king of Kettleness and prince of the pier jammy git welldone mate
