The Wee Comp / social night SW Scotland (drummore) 11 September

Hi Lads,
Well This was a maybe, now its a definite.ON SATURDAY 11 SEPTEMBER
started as beer talk but now its on. Basically, A few of the lads decided we would go to Portpatrick / Drummore for a Wee Comp / social night in Drummore.So... If anyone is up for it, we have decided to have a Wee Comp, Lets call it... The wee Comp!, then a social night in The ship Inn at Drummore.
we decide it will be £10 a man, £5 of which will be donated to the RNLI in the pub on Sat evening, and £5 into the kitty, winner takes all, Heaviest single fish only. we will gratefully accept any Prizes that Local tackle shops would like to donate, they will of course be mentioned on here. Theres six of us up to now, so anyone else is more than welcome.iT would be good to put faces to posts, etc.

Weve had a dropout lads. so if Anyone wants to come theres a seat in the motor, and a BnB place going spare @£22 in the ship at drummore.
theres 4 of us up to now,( 2 cars) and if you want a lift youll need to be able to get your arse and kit to Benton Area for 0530 on the 11 th.

Hopin to target... anything. any tips?? tope from the shore? Portaptrick area? Luce Bay? Bass? Ray? anyone been there.?
Been to the mull, ( never again) any tips wolud be graet.

i have fished port patrick , float fishing or spinning of any of the headlands will produce plenty of pollock,mackrel and wrasse.

and the beaches produce ray,doggies,bass (plug) and tope if u put a rubby dubby down at low water
