Hello guys just wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I fished the walkway today with my m8 who is not the best walking with his bad knees. So I parked the car in the housing est out of the way of any cars or drives ways. After a couple of hours went to the car and found a note on it saying. YOU DO NOT LIVE HERE SO DON'T PARK HERE COZ THE NEXT TIME I'LL HAVE YOU. Sorry if you want to say something say it to my face instead of the wimps way. Well I moved my car coz I no some lads on here have had them keyed. If he asked me nicely I would have moved it anyway. Some people want to get a life. That's my rant over.

I understand that m8. But saying ILL HAVE YOU On a note. It's like me writing Tyson a letter and calling him a a•••••e and not signing it

he probably means have you for the parking ( as in informing the traffic wardens )
cos im sure if he meant it the other way he would of probs come and confronted you there and then

like i said its been on ongoing battle there from day one with them trying to get fishing banned from there, mainly due to noise and mess i think

I no what you mean coz there was line and hooks all over the place plus someone had opened the bin and was rubbish all over the. Things like these spoil it for people who just want to fish

Think i would rather pay £3 for parking as put up with that crap least you could enjoy your fishing sesh with out worrying about the car.

john.

there was a problem there 2 years ago mate and the police came and told the guy any one could park there i think the guy just got aout the wrong side of the bed mate i would just ask him if u see him and ask him wat the problem is its not as if u are hurting any thing ao damaging out

That's it m8. I was no were near the resident parking bays. When I went to the car I seen a old guy but never thought out of it till I seen the note. At the end of the day if someone parked in my street I would say Nowt there pay there road tax like me. He was lucky I never seen the note before him coz my p••s was boiling

You could put the note up on a lamppost or something with a phone number for him to ring. You may find out who he is and what his problem is then? At least that way you have something to give the police

there is 4 visitors parking bays and a few of the residents think they own them, they dont, if you have any problems with the residents stay calm and polite and point out that there visitors parking bays not private and tell them politly if they have a problem to call the police like we did sevaral years back and the police told us to park sensible then left with the fishermans cars still in the bays and you'll find they cannot do out about if your parking in one of those bays because there for vistors and your a visitor and a fisherman, and like a say dont lose you rag always stay calm.

i know who the bloke is bet you parked next to the corner house with a white van on the driveway he keyed my mates car earlyer in the season along with another 6 cars strange thing was he wasnt parked in the residents parking bay he parked next to the yacht club where there is no restrictions it caused over £200 of damage if your fishing at night and you see him walk past he has a little dog (border terrier) be on your guard we now park in the little haven hotel car park as its alot safer im sure he will upset the wrong person and it will backfire on him

It's all down to the prom, they think just because they bought a house/apartment there that they automatically own the riveside in front of them. That's why their so anti angler and everyone else that goes along there. Some of them must of thought when they bought their places there that they would have a tranquill view of the tyne estuary, not so, it's Shields and it gets lively whether it be anglers, chavs or anyone else that decides they want to walk along there. I reckon it's a bit like buying a house next to the M6 and then kicking off about traffic noise. F****n t*****rs.

Anyway, it does hoy some very nice fish up.

You no what it is lads the daft sod wrote the note out and put it on my windscreen in the pouring rain and the ink started to run. I ended up parking in the little haven just to be on the safe side. Was fishing a match and didnt fancy having to change a slashed tyre or something like that. The only reason I parked there coz my m8 can't walk very far

If he keyed my car the dog would be rammed up his arse,I would go mental not got the best temper in the world :D:D

F**k em! As long as your not obstructing any driveways etc, and there is no signs saying otherwise, park where you like! Imho the person who left that sign deserves a good hiding:D

why pick on the dog, use something less useful, broomstick, lump of driftwood, your size 10 wader (sorry they are usefull, but bet it would hurt) tell the police
