The cod come back on with a bang

Glenn stocks one of my regulars booked sea-otter2 today for himself and nick and he hit the jackpot after a lean spell on the cod due to big herring shoals which have been around for the last month or so it was great to see the cod comeing back on with a massive bang the quality of the fish was excellent with most of the fish between 6-8lb bracket and one of two into double figures most of the fish fell to calimari but pirks and shads also did damage my son andrew who has been doing a bit of crewing for me lately also got in on the action.

Yes northeast we did just 2 wrecks and both fished extremly well we didnt bother with ground very nice to see.

Nice one Paul, and all a good size. good to see catches holding even though its late in the year. Just hoping we get a decent weekend or two in the coming weeks, not the best of seas this weekend up here.
