Team Shady Report Sat 25/06/16

Bert Keith and myself slipped the moorings at 4am and headed out between the piers Into a calm sea and a bonny sunrise. The Skipper had us in to them from the off, picking Cod up on the inshore wrecks . They were fish in the 5/7 lb range with a couple of near doubles.
Pirks, Shads, and bait all caught today.we also had a few mackerel.
We returned some small cod and ling to fight another day.
We also had a visit from the fisheries vessel St Aiden and their RIB, just checking our
catch.

Great catch lads and pics. Saw yous going in,around eleven. I was just half a mile from the piers when we also got a visit from the fisheries vessle. They said yous had some good fish. I've got to start getting out earlier.

We saw the StAiden as well, they steamed straight past us and continued south towards the piers. They must have heard the stories about our fish catching prowess and thought it wasn't worth stopping.
