Subject: Blyth beach 4/12/05

Should have known it would happen
Fished the sluice end in a match Wed. Too much weed so should I go down the beach or elsewhere. Chose Tynemouth got nowt and two good fish from the other end of the beach.
Match Friday, didn't get away from work as planned. Dropped bait of for my mate and got a phone call from the lass. cars knacked so back to pick her and the little one up, can't get parked to fish the pier at Blyth. Eventually get on having missed best part of half the match, can't get where I want and only an undersize coalie to show.
Loads of bait left Sunday but it's going off. Fish the beach by the farm from 11pm. First chuck with the poor! lug and one codling 4lb 9oz. Third chuck whiting just under a lb and then fourth chuck codling 1lb 14oz to mussell and fresh crab.
Obviously can't take the pressure.

ya got there in the end though with a couple of half decent fish
