Fished 10am t 2pm looked calm how looks can deceive water swirling casting good length still dragged t side tried short cast same had 6oz plain lead swapped t grip no better moved up river looked still water n was 4 guys fishing was still same n now weed was clinging t line asked lads not much caught small whitings n an eel got fed up n left with a blank rare 4me home for beer as wife's birthday 2mw got bait left try jarrow by ped tunnel if nice 2mw
 
Tough luck. Tha weed can be a right pain. You get loads up at the BA site. I have to resort to short casts as the long ones just have line loaded with weed.

Ive just been up there with RL83.

Strong pull and terrible weed. I had 3 pin Whiting and 1 horrible eel.

That's true like mate, how come my crab didn't count before and I blanked yet my sons lobster counted as no blank, they are both shellfish in the fishmongers. I think I may have been ripped off by the youngun a few times when I haven't actually blanked, I had caught crabs. :D

jarrow pedestrian tunnel

what can i fish at the pedestrian tunnel and what bait should i take? im new to fishing. i dont have a car so that location is within walking distance to me.
