St Abbs and Eyemouth Expedition 21/06/14

Nice pics Chris, nice to meet you too mate I had a cracking day.

Great fish for Pete later on, well done mate. Cracking day out, not the best for me fishing wise but that wrasse made up for it.
A bit quieter today, we had quite a few fish but all on the small side. I lost a good pollock at my feet which looked about the 3-4lb mark but it got away. I need some r+r now, absolutely knackered.

Thanks Mark, would you believe it was on my LRF rod with a smurf 15 reel and 12g HTO lure haha, I was thinking its another lost fish after the last one bent the hook out. Smashing wrasse too mate.

Shame it was quieter when yas went back, it happened last year to me and Mike the fish came on for a half hour then the sea picked up and the fish went totally off.

well done lads looks like a great days fishing might have shot up there in the next few weeks

We just came back from The MOG and looks like you boys battered us with them Pollock,The Mull was poor like,
Is Bell Hill Bank near Eyemouth?

Just a bit further north from Eyemouth at St Abbs

Great report and nice photos, I love it up there. Beautiful

I fish around that way as often as I can, never been on that mark. Looking at photos I am guessing it is the next mark North from White Heugh?

Fished up that way on Friday, looking for Pollock but not to be.

I have already said this personally but I would like to say it publicly on here. A big thanks to Mike for putting the research in and planning the marks we fished, times of tides etc, making it well organised and enjoyable trip. Cheers Mike.

Well done lads, cracking report! Can I pipe up and thank mark also? He knows his stuff and is happy to help anybody! It was me and my brother in st abbs harbour car park! I thought I recognised you, but I've only ever seen pictures of you in a hat haha

Sorry mark, the thanks was for thunderpants! I didn't catch your names and got confused when I was reading the report! Seriously though, cheers lads. If it wasn't for yous we would have just stayed on st abbs pier haha
