fished 4 hours upto top of the tide at the stadium end of the prom, the tiderun was far too strong for the first 3 hours with the river full of rubbish it made it virtually unfishable. however as the tide eased i got around an hour and a quarter that the fish came on. ended up with 12 flounders (nothing big best 34cm most cosiderably smaller), 2 coalies around 30cm and on the last cast a codling also around 30cm. wish i'd tried further up river now but its easy to be wise after. may have a short session at claxheugh tomorrow.
