Me . mad rob and outcast chris Adams headed to roker pier for 8.30 to fish threw the night
We had live blacks .yellow tails and lug and should of left the frozen stuff in freezer as nearly all fish fell to worm baits
few waves coming over about 2/3 of pier
we got to the roundhead with about 5 people fishing
2 rods a piece with pulley Pennal for me on my Ultra power with spinfisher and whities straight from the off some nice size too
we were all catching then at low tide I got a small bite then another and a bit slack line left it a bit then again so reeled in and hit it ......a new it was a goodun as I've been dragging cod out for fun recently lol
Seemed to take for ever to get it near the wall my arms were killing and still pumping and fish nodding away before chris started handball it up the wall with the words from mad rob canny size whitey lol over the barrier came a PB fatty of a cod 9lb 3ozs....buzzing shaking the lot ....then out with the scales I was gutted and buzzing hoping it was my 1st doubler
More whities for all over us plus I had about 5 codling about 1.5lb each kept 1 as deep hooked and returned 4
Then I turned round and seen robs rod go and slack line all over and after a nice fight I pulled a lovely 5lb 2ozs codling up for rob
As the snow blizzards came down my rod went again and as before lovely fight resulting in chris handballing another beauty 7lb 3ozs cod for me
Finished fishing 5.30ish in morning cold but over the moon as I had a pb fish and a pb bag of about 25lb plus robs 5lber and Chris had a nice bag of codling and big whities
Only downfall on the night was rob smashing my flask and carrying 25lb of fish back along the pier lol
Long night but if carling did fishing sessions this would of been it .Great team work from the crabstick crew cheers boys till next time adios
