simple quest why do we go casting

:( caus theres nowt better to do in the summer :D :D or simply to improve casting techniques ready for the winter :D :D :D :D somat you'll know nowt about john :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

i dont john,i went and found someting less borin instead,Y DONT U!!!!!!( like that crappy kids show in 70's). or as the lads shouted at norman and bob scott down kirkleatham . gedda life ya sad b*****d LOL:o :o :o        :p :p :p :p

aye big m. you could be right, but even all us sad barstewards have to have something to do. some casters have other excitng hobbies like er -- um -- bird watching, -- flower arranging -- line dancing , and if we get really bored theres always the "unmentionables trying to catch the un-eatable" brigade known as course anglers

SOCIETY HAS AN OBLIGATION TO LOOK AFTER ITS MISFITS.:D :D :D :D

hi martin ,why dont i try summit else / i might as well because after years and years of trying to cast i comes to mind why am i trying to do this not because i fibnd it boring it just does not come naturaly like some

hi on another site a quest was asked why was,nt there more numbers a casting events the following comment was somebodys reply---
One option is to have casting days down on the beach where the fishermen can see the casting in actual fishing situation and start to realise the practical benefits of field casting being put into a fishing context.

does this not go some way as to what martin was saying on an earlier thread,ie throwing the bigger leads more practicle for fishing not the lighter leads

:o i use a 180 grm lead when fishing ideal when its rough, but when its flat i drop to a 125grm lead and i always seem to pick up fish so that must tell you something   if you dont practice with these weights then its unlikely your going to be proficient with them its certainly helped my fishing

I cast one or two leads in comp and fishing EG.
50G 75G 100G 125G 150G 175G 200G
ALL have there use when fishing 50g for spinning sandeels and 200g to nail a bait to the deck in a strong tide pull .
by just casting one or two sizes in leads you limit your fishing skills.

hi ya bazz ,that brings back memories twizzle ,
heres a one were did this saying come from - all aboard the skylark
hi oldchukka i am getting stretching exercises for my back hence the 300grm lead
see yas all nice and early sun morn

looka here you lot if i were to come along to comps yous would regret it believe me,anyway after picts of steves face i am not going to be put on display i would get sick of model agencies ringing me up. i think i am going to make a show tmmorow arnt i

hi big dave, maybe youre right i dont know but i stick to mainly 6ounces for my winters fishing , i do a fair bit walking and dont like a lot of leads in my box and reels to go with it. some people use mainly pulley rigs to keep things simple and are easy to make up like me i tend to carry the one size lead around ps dont like pulleys but at times can be very good.
hows your arm anyway dave are you there tommorow
