Short Session.

Had a couple of hours on the boat today, didnt go far probably a foot side to side. I'd lashed out on a new rod and reel from the pound shop and thought i'd give them a go, kitted it out with a 10mm nut for a sinker and size 8 trout hook. Bait used was sandeel steaks. Had 5 coalies, 3 whities and a few dog crabs . After a couple of hours the reel gearing packed up and the handle was bent, so might take it back and get my quid back. . Seriously though sitting in the boat in the sunshine, pulling in fish on seriously light tackle was great fun...........Sorry no pics, all fish returned safely and very quickly..

Should have give me a shout mate, you could have come down for a bit crack. Another tip for you Deano.....Dont buy reels from the pound shop, the quality is poor......LOL..

haha ill stay away from them mate gonna put another order in with spotty on monday for some more gear this wrecking certainly puts a hole in your pocket but sometimes it pays off
