Hello all,

Fished the 41 mark today and got my first one of the season, this was my target so even though crap sesh mission accomplished



got at high water on rag. Clean hooked on bottom lip so the feller went back fine.

Guy on the end came rushing past looking very distraught, trying to catch up with the jet skier who had just dragged his rod and reel ower the south east corner, he'd just bought the stuff, cost around £400 notes his mate told me later

Hopefully plaice will start rolling in now

Well done on the plaice Gordon mate,there was a few near misses with jetskis on Tuesday,caught my mates line but never went over

nice fish,guy posted on facebook about his gear going in,is there not any laws about how near they can come to the shore ect.they come belting over the midens side , close in showing off,is there not a speed limit inside the river,also theres a few lads on the braid now and if one of them picked it up and it went near there neck,well cheese wire comes to mind,could end in disaster

Well done on plaice and it's a pleasure to see positive comments on a fish caught not slagging anglers off for there catch... Like the plumbs on fishermans locker

Don't think there would be much the guy could do legally even if he did catch up with the jet skier, just got to have eyes in the back of yer head and lightning fast reactions when fishing the end in summer I suppose
