Shields Pier 11/09/2012

First post on here!

Went down to Shields Pier on Tuesday night with my girlfriends brother having had nothing at roker the day before. Fished from 4:15 to 6:15 off the right hand side of the pier at the top and finished up with 27 mackerel! Had 12 off the first three casts but a boat came along and slowed the fishing down. Gave a couple to a guy fishing there who helped us out and was from this forum, he didn't give me a name though but he helped us a lot. We've had mackerel two nights in a row for tea now and have a good stash for bait in the freezer for the lads we go fishing with!

Thanks again to the guy from this forum who helped us out to start with.
