Alright lads'
2 of us fished the big beach at SS down to low and 1hr back we fished the sand banks around 100yds from the pier it was a steady bite a chuck mostly small fish incl coleys, flounders and a nice little brucie bonus with a small Turbot
All fish on lug, rag, mackerel or a mixture of them all
No need to travel right up the coast for your Turbots boys[tiniest ever caught by the way] also got one of those double sided flounders if thats how to describe them like?
Definitley try this again on the next big tides

Heres a couple of Pics

Cheers

Tony

Well done mate i love scratching around for small stuff like that at least your arnt sitting around ages waiting for a bite

Well done on the turbot mate. I had a palm sized one off Shields big beach last summer on rag. What bait did you get it on?

Sorry for the delay mate, but yes it was on ragworm and size 2 hooks with all the flashy dangly bits as well, really close in but there are some canny little hollows to fish in around them sandbanks, waders needed like
