secret spot

Me and two mates fished a secret spot for the first time yesterday on the tyne. Fished for about 5 hours and had 19 fish between us. Flounders whiten, codling biggest fish was a codling around 2lb. Just rag was doing the buisness, fish didnt even touch the peeler a had collected on the saturday altoughthe codling did spit out a whole crab. All in all was a good few hours fishing so al defo be going back to the spot

theres not many secret spots on the tyne these days m8, sure people will know where it is. anyway nice sesh and good few fish.

honestly i wudnt call it a secret spot with a 2lb codling been the biggest fish ..... theres better spots that will produce bigger fish likes of the jarrow jetty etc

There are no secret spots on the tyne, i've fished or seen people fish just about the full tidal length of it
I bet ya were on the north side and I bet I could guess where ya were

codseeker we will see mate al keep you updated next time ago right. You al should no yourself what fishings been like lately there hasn't been that many fish getting caught. A fish the tyne a lot and well after yesterday being the first time a fished this spot on the north side a can gladly say am looking forward to fishing it again and can tell its going to produce some good fish in the future.

lol. Well, anyway, it's already been estabished that it's on the north bank somewhere. It's just a matter of time before it's discovered

well narrows it down aswell as he states he shudnt be fishing there. lol so must be private owned land which there is a lot of on the north side. anyway as codseeker says there are better places such as jarrow jetty etc when conditions are right.

for me the south side always fishes better. just my opinion though

i would put money on it being up river as theres no where really south of royal quays it could be apart from smiths dock which is common knowledge or rubber factory, then after that it is all open such as middens etc.
