Have not long been back in,I fished the open the neet at cullercoats had one codling .Went to go back to weigh in and got a phone call from wor lasses mother me youngest was working himself,so when i saw the amount of people weighing in did\'nt bother.Looked like plenty of people with bags of fish more than likely whiteys.Have just weighed the fishh it\'s just over 2lb.

Not been long back myself, got roped into doing the weigh in, did not get finished until 11pm. Loads of fish mainly whities but plenty good codlings. Codling won it about 20lb, h/f 6-4-0, good few around 5lb, plenty of mixed bags around 8lb. Will post result when i get a minute. Took a box up for some whities, got some nice cod as well, will be on forever cleaning them tomorrow. Over 50% of the anglers that fished weighed in, a bloody good average, nearly 600lb of fish caught by 112 anglers.

you should have hung around alan prizes went down to 10oz \' by the way i was one of the 50% that didn\'t weigh in. noticed bigman picking up 2nd prize in the raffle.

hi ell where did you fish ? me and me m8 fished around collywell bay he had 2 for 5lb 10oz won himself a portable heater thing.

Used to fish there loads John. Going to have to get back into the rock edges a bit more this year. Have let the beach fishing take over too much.

hi jim a while ago i realised that one day my body would tell me its time to stop rock hopping so the beaches are like my retirement somewhere to chill put up one of them tent thingys and have a kettle and stove. prefer the rocks m8.

I stopped fishing the rock marks as my mate was too big and a lot of rock marks were too dangerous. Now that he has lost all of 9 stone I am going to get him back out there soon.

a lot of the newbiggin marks are open to the elements ell i decided on collywell for the protection them cliffs and houses on the road take the westerlies straight over your head.

We fished next to the pipe in the end and had a few knocks but were lumping on in hope of HSF by then. My mate found a gasping whitey in a rock pool though

my mate got the last prize with a whiting, so just about every one got a prize, i fished at hadstone, me and tony my partner both ended up with the same weight 6lb 10oz, whats the chances of that eh, also came 2nd in the raffle bottle of whisky and a meal for two at the king arms at seaton sluice, i think ill go there by myself and have both the meals.
