That was the report from the weigh in that the winning fish came from Noses Point, also heard it was caught right at the death too. Well done that man, I thought I was doing well with one at 3.77 on my second chuck til the reports started coming in of bigger ones.:(

Dont know about where the biggest fish came from, where did it come from?,we heard of a few good single fish from Hendon Prom, and Targets at Ryhope.Four of us fished hard along with twenty plus other anglers at Green Wall and Chemical beach, using quality fresh livebaits Blacks, crab, yellowtails, mussel, razor and saw one fish in five hours, that was lost at the front in the swell,in what we thought were perfect conditions. It was very disappointing result considering,But a Well run comp by Seaham Angling Club well done to all.

I ended up with 3 fish for 8-61lb from Horden beach, biggest around 4 1/2lb mark. Thought I might have picked up a spool of line with the conditions but ended up with a £250 rod. Think I might have came about 6th so was well chuffed with my shop bought bait and the amount of top anglers and posh baits about. Supppose there's a lesson in there somewhere lol.

bloody big whiting them mog lol

mick said it was from noses in the last 5 mins and someone ran down and got the fish for him. from what ive been told second or third was from near the target by someone who didnt know a great deal about fishing , asked where to fish and 1st or 2nd chuck 8lb cod. it was a great day , no fish for me on chems, bigger table allready in the pipe line for next year, hope all that entered had a good day ,as joe did a great job getting the prize table and the comittee worked very hard trying make the comp a success. well done everyone involved including all the anglers who took part because without you there is no comp . again well done everyone .

Lol, I'm slowly but surely shaking off that title now lol. On a bit of a streak atm so don't want that tag back. Got a nother couple of pounders last night at Seaburn beach. There must have been 15 fishing it for some reason

There was loads on Tuesday night aswel Jamie. I was the only one apart from someone on white steels. Next time I looked there was about 10 and ended up with 15 or more. Didn't see anything getting caught but I ended up with a couple of crabs, a big rockling and 2 codling about 1 1/2 lb each. couldn't understand why so many were down
