Well done geordie and the rest of the team comp ran mint and cracking atmosphere in the club i love the opens and a massive well done to all the winners and who took part
 
What a good day it's been Geordy even tho the fishing wasn't that good at the hive you get 2 meet sum new people at these opens, and well done 2 Sinky on 3rd well impressed
 
just glad its only 1 a year on this scale mate need some better committee people to share the workload town council next then its our xmas fayre (made just under £400 towards xmas fayre on raffle today) things looking up m8 time for a well deserved skinfull:):):)

yeh sinky done well beside me.

i was chucking it long at the start of the comp when the tide wasnt in. got one out then nowt. as the bay filled up i changed to me big reel 35lb line, and shorter casts bigger baits. short casts was the wrong choice:cool:

two lads besides me continue to chuck long, and land two fish, sinkys been just bigger over 5lb. both within 10 mins before high water.
but thats fishing:)


that was it, not many fish about really, bit of a lottery down the blocks the day but good crack and good to see a nice fish win it.
heard there was some good prizes, and a good organised comp.

the fishing wasnt the best at the spiles but the crack was great and a big thanx to geordie and the team great comp and raffle .......... did i mention i got 2nd in raffle a nice okuma DTX 80 FIXED SPOOL REEL cheers

I that was me mate it was the worst in the hive 2 day we shud of had sun fish 1st do away as the tide pushed it was going 2 get harder so that's y I did a dash for the chemical beach and sill failed 😀😀😀😀
 
well done on a well run comp and well done to the the lads that got fish out, i won myself a canny waterproof smock with the 3 coddies i had from the blocks:)
