I suspect looking at the weather forecast that we are in for some mountainous seas by the weekend.

Severe Northerly gales!!!!!

Just wondering what the arrangements are for the big weekend match at Seaham. I very much doubt it will be fishable.

Anybody know?

cant wait:)

I hope they are well insured 20ft swells and as andy says 40mph northerlies forecast, all or most of marks are right on the front not to mention the snow and ice. I hope it goes ahead as I plan to fish but no fish is worth your life! just look at the fell runners a few weeks back the organisers were slated. the lads have put a tremendous amount of work in to get the match up and running but I hope the heart doesnt rule the head if it comes to making the right call on the day.

been down myself there lads and its looks completely unfishable within the bounderies, probs 1 or 2 marks you might get away with but how many anglers will be heading there, should have just called it off there and then, save a lot of unwanted travelling for 2moro, weve decided to duff it now save all the hassle for nothing in the morn and try and find somewhere sheltered for 2moro

I was in Frasers (W/Bay) this afternoon & the lad came off the phone with the news that it's cancelled/postponed. Wasn't planning on fishing it anyway given the conditions...
