Aye Chris won with a 8 and a half pound cod on cart there was 120 fish weighed in mostly cod out of 270 plus anglers a canny turn out and result

Saw him pull it in, I was fishing 60yds away and got 2 Tommys for 2lb 8oz, But I won the raffle at the weigh in!

me and me mate won the pairs with 8 fish for 19lb odd. we both had a cod over 5lb. we caught them all first hour and a half then the weed turned up and spoilt it

andy was at the south end of blast i texed him this morn any idea were chris was fishing and any good bags off the chems.

I had 2 codlings in first 2 casts then the weed came,got a prize off the table and won disabled section with 3 .49 lb ,so not a bad day.

270 Anglers is IMO a poor turn out compared with previous years attendances could be cos prize money down........... and S*** prize table, such a shame

i hurd a lad got washed in any truth to that? and hossak got his on the chem beach i cant understand why the green wall is in bouds but hawthorn aint think the comp is the worse one used to be a great comp but 270 anglers wen the sea away like this is very poor
